Kushan Dynasty, Kanishka I (127-140 CE), Gold Dinar, "NANA" type, Obv: the diademed king standing facing the left, holding a spear in his left hand and sacrificing over an altar on the left field, with flames on his right shoulder, the Bactrian legend "ÞAONANOÞAO KA-NHÞKI KOÞANO" "Shaonashao Kanishki Koshano" (King of Kings, Kanishka the Kushan) around the field, Rev: goddess Nana standing, nimbate, facing the right, wearing a fillet and a crescent, holding a scepter in the right hand and a box in the left hand, a tamgha on the right field, the Bactrian legend "NANA" on the left field, with a dotted border around the field, 7.78g, 19.93mm, (Gobl # 35.9/Jongward & Cribb # 370), about very fine, Very Rare.
