Feudatories from Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Sada Dynasty (100 CE), Uninscribed Lead Unit, Obv: an elephant standing facing the left, a solid ball and a standard-like design to its left, Rev: a mane-less lion standing facing the left, 9.73g, 29.09mm, about very fine, Rare. Note: The dynastic history of the Krishna-Godavari delta region after the Mauryan period. The sites of the Krishna delta are generally associated with the Satavahanas and the Iksvakus. However, the Satavahanas were preceded in coastal Andhra by rulers with names ending in '-Sada'. They are therefore conveniently identified as the 'Sadas of coastal Andhra'. Their coins have been chiefly reported from the Krishnaand Godavari Districts - (Coins of the Sada Dynasty by Shailendra Bhandare).
