Akbar, Agra (Dar-ul-Khilafa) Mint, Silver Rupee, AH 977, Obv: Arabic legend The Kalima Shahada within a wavy square, the four Caliphs' names in the margin, Rev: Persian legend "Jalal ud din Muhammad Akbar Badshah Ghazi", ruler's title & mint name in margin, 11.35g, 26.00mm (Unlisted type in KM), sharp strike, test marks, about extremely fine, Scarce.
Note: In this specimen , the Persian letter 'he' of "ghazi" at the top of the reverse is in its 'lazy' or Majhool form, creating an attractive calligraphic divider.
