Maratha Confederacy, Thanjavur Maratha (1700-1750 AD), Copper ½ Kasu, In the name of Chhatrapati Shivaji, Obv: Devanagari legend 'Shri/Raja/Shiva', Rev: Devanagari legend 'ChhatrÄpati' partly visible, 1.7g, 10.61mm, about very fine.Striking of coins in the name of Shivaji was continued at Thanjavur for several decades after his death.
