Islam, Al-Andalus - Spain - Córdoba Caliphate - Abd al Rahman III silver dirham (2.17g, 24mm.) minted in Madinat al-Zahra, the palatine city very close to Cordoba city, Southern Spain. 337 H. (A.d. 948).
Choice very fine condition. Lightly toned. Mintmark, date and assayer perfectly visible. Lovely geometric and vegetal decorative elements. Elegant caligraphy.
