Sovereign 1891 Horse with short tail S.3866B, DISH L14, in an NGC holder and graded XF45, a very rare type, notes by David Iverson in his book 'The Jubilee Head Gold Sovereign 1887-1893' estimate the short tail type for this date and mint makes up less than 0.5% of the total mintage, and rates this type as R5 with only an estimated 5-10 examples believed to exist
