Description

Decimal One Pound edge lettering trials (2) both blanks with lettered edges, the first with DECUS ET TUTAMEN on a plain edge, 6.85 grammes, the second with DECUS ET TUTAMEN ANNO REGNI XXXI in italic font with a Cross Crosslet privy mark after TUTAMEN, 7.72 grammes both VF, along with a resin impression 65mm diameter of possibly a proposed design and two further paper impressions of the same design, , these accompanied by two booklets by the Royal Mint, the first entitled 'The United Kingdom Coinage' July 1987, the second entitled 'Proposals for a £1 coin and a 20p Coin' January 1981, these both in good condition
