Shilling 1721 Roses and Plumes ESC 1171, Bull 1577 (8 strings to Harp) EF the obverse with some haymarking, our records indicate this is the first we have offered since 2003, whereas we have offered all the various overdates for this year, so probably rarer than the 'R' rating given by ESC, Cataloguer's Note, there is evidence of doubling to the 21 in the date but is quite different to examples of the published overdates we have studied, also Bull states the overdates have 7 or 9 harp strings and the Plain date coin has 8 harp strings, graded 65 by LCGS
