The note in red Carmine/Red on multicolour underprint featuring Coat of Arms on an elaborate guilloche panel with thistle plants at bottom on obverse and the reverse depicting a scene of George Square in Glasgow named after King George III and being the Glasgow's biggest and most famous square.
