Crispus, Caesar, 316-326. 1/4 Follis (Bronze, 14 mm, 1.40 g, 5 h), Treveri, circa 320. FL IVL CRISPVS NOB C Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Crispus to right, seen from behind. Rev. VOT / V / MVLT / X in four lines within wreath. RIC -. Unpublished and of great importance. An attractive example with pleasant green patina. Minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.

From the Tetrarchy Collection, formed over the past twenty-five years.

The emergence of this unpublished issue is an important discovery, all the more as quarter folles of Crispus are extremely rare in general.
