Constantius I, as Caesar, 293-305. Follis (Bronze, 28 mm, 10.37 g, 6 h), Treveri, circa 302-303. CONSTANTIVS NOBIL C Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius I to right, seen from behind. Rev. GENIO POPV-LI ROMANI / S - F / IITR The Genius of the Roman people, nude but for chlamys, standing front, head to left, wearing kalathos and holding patera in his right hand and cornucopiae in his left. RIC - , cf. 531 (differing bust type). Apparently unpublished. Somewhat rough on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
