SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Vespasian, 69-79. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 14.92 g, 12 h), RY 2 = 69/70. ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΟ ΚΑΙCΑ ΟΥЄCΠΑCΙΑ[ΝΟΥ] Laureate head of Vespasian to right. Rev. ЄΤΟΥC ΝЄΟΥ ΙЄΡΟΥ Β Eagle standing left on club with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; before to left, palm frond. McAlee 347 var. (differing obverse legend). Prieur 123 var. (differing obverse legend). Extremely rare and with an attractive portrait. Very fine.
