ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ Apollo standing front, head to left, holding phiale in his right hand and branch in his left; to left before him, lighted altar. RPC IV.1 online -. Varbanov -, cf. 981 (differing obverse legend). Very rare. A boldly struck and very attractive issue. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
