Hybrid head: bearded male right with gorgoneion-like head set perpendicularly behind; all within dotted square. Rev. Forepart of a lion-like horned animal to right, devouring forepart of a horse; all within dotted square within incuse square. CNG 75 (2007), 531. Gitler & Tal -, cf. XIII.5D (for this obverse type as a reverse) and XXVII.6D (for reverse). Of the highest rarity, the second known example. Porous and with two test cuts, otherwise, good fine.
