SAMARIA. Circa 375-333 BC. Obol (Silver, 12 mm, 0.88 g, 2 h). Bearded male head to right, wearing satrapal headdress. Rev. Forepart of a horse to right; to left, 𐡔𐡌𐡓𐡉𐡍 ('šmryn' in Aramaic). Meshorer & Qedar 75. Sofaer 46. Rare and with an unusually clear legend. Very fine.
