Severus Alexander, 222-235. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 2.59 g, 7 h), Rome, 222. IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG Laureate and draped bust of Severus Alexander to right, seen from behind. Rev. P M TR P COS P P Jupiter standing front, head to left, holding thunderbolt in his right hand and long scepter in his left. BMC 13. Cohen 204. RIC 5. A well struck and attractively toned example. Nearly extremely fine.
