SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Demetrios I Soter, 162-150 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 16.46 g, 1 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, circa 162-155/4. Diademed head of Demetrios to right within wreath. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΔHMHTPIOY Tyche, holding scepter and cornucopia, seated left on throne supported by tritoness right; to outer left, monogram of HP. SC 1638.1c. Nicely toned. Struck on a somewhat short flan and with light scratches, otherwise, very fine.
