Head of Demeter to right, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple pendant earring and pearl necklace; before, ΔA[I]. Rev. META Ear of barley with leaf to right; to right above leaf, plow; below, MA[X]. HN Italy 1581. Johnston Class C, 1.2. Nicely toned. Areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.
