BRITISH, Plantagenet. Henry II, 1154-1189. Penny (Silver, 19 mm, 1.35 g), Long cross type, Nicholas de St. Albans, moneyer. London, circa 1251/2. hЄNRICVS RЄX III Crowned head facing. Rev. NICOLЄ ON LVND Voided long cross with three pellets in each angle. SCBC 1368A. Attractively toned. Minor scratch on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
