Gaius (Caligula), with Germanicus, 37-41. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.70 g, 9 h), Rome, 37-38. C CAESAR•AVG•GERM P [M TR POT] Bare head of Gaius to right. Rev. GERMANICVS CAES P C CAES AVG GERM Bare head of Germanicus to right. BMC 13. Cohen 4. RIC 12. Beautifully toned and with two fine portraits struck in high relief. Minor flatness on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
