ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. Al-Mu'tamid, AH 256-279 / AD 870-892. Dinar (Gold, 22 mm, 4.08 g, 3 h), citing the caliph al-Mutamid and the heir apparent, Ja'far (future al-Muffawid), Misr, AH 260 = AD 873/4. Bernardi 173De. Slightly clipped and with minor deposits on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
