ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. Al-Ma'mun, AH 199-218 / AD 813-833. Dinar (Gold, 18 mm, 3.90 g, 7 h), citing the caliph al-Ma'mun and the governor of Egypt, Al-Muttalib, without mint name (Misr), AH 198 = AD 813/4. Bernardi 85. SICA III, 1884. Somewhat clipped and with light marks, otherwise, very fine.
