S LADISLAVS REX 1593 St. Ladislaus standing facing, holding halberd in his right hand and globe in his left (sic!). Rev. RVDOL II D G RO I S AV GE HV B R Madonna seated facing on crescent, holding infant Christ. Friedberg 63 var. (globus cruciger). Huszár 1002 var. (globus cruciger). Apparently unpublished. Minor scrape on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.

This is a curious and apparently unpublished variety with St. Ladislaus holding a globe rather than a globus cruciger (a mint error?).
