Description

Heraclius, with Heraclius Constantine and Heraclonas, 610-641. Solidus (Gold, 21 mm, 4.48 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis, circa 632-635. Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine, both wearing crowns surmounted with crosses, and Heraclonas, uncrowned, standing facing; each holding globus cruciger in their right hand; in upper left field, cross. Rev. VICTORIA AVGЧ B / CONOB Cross potent on base and three steps; in field to right, Heraclian monogram. DOC 33b. MIB 39. SB 758. Lustrous. Light areas of weakness and with minor marks, otherwise, virtually as struck.
