Titus, as Caesar, 69-79. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 33 mm, 27.13 g, 7 h), Rome, struck under Vespasian, 72. T CAES VESPASIAN IMP PON TR POT COS II Laureate head of Titus to right. Rev. PAX AVGVSTI Pax standing front, head to left, holding branch in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. BMC 633. Cohen 150. RIC 423. A boldly struck piece with an attractive green patina and a splendid portrait. Very light mark on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
