★ Extremely rare, one of just three known examples ★

PISIDIA. Conana. Marcus Aurelius, 161-180. Pentassarion (?) (Bronze, 32 mm, 23.90 g, 7 h). ΑYΤ ΚΑΙСΑΡ ΑΝΤΩΝЄΙΝOС Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Marcus Aurelius to left, seen from behind. Rev. ΚΟΝΑΝЄΩΝ Herakles, wearing lion skin headdress, advancing right, holding strung bow in his right hand and leaning left on club set on boukranion. RPC IV online 7747.2 ( this coin ). Von Aulock, Pisidien II, 788 ( same dies ). Extremely rare, one of just three known examples. Minor old scrapes, otherwise, very fine.
