★ An extremely rare issue of Caracalla from Siblia ★

PHRYGIA. Siblia. Caracalla, 198-217. Tetrassarion (Bronze, 30 mm, 13.33 g, 7 h). AYT KAI M AY ANTΩNЄINOC Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right, seen from behind. Rev. CЄIBΛIANΩN Mên standing front, head to right, wearing Phrygian cap and with crescent on his shoulders, holding Nike in his left hand and scepter in his right. SNG von Aulock 3956 = Von Aulock, Phrygien I, 889 ( same dies ). Extremely rare. Very fine.

The obverse die of this extremely rare issue was also used to strike coins from Dokimeion and Prymnessos.
