KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes II ‘the Great’, 95-56 BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 18 mm, 3.53 g, 12 h), Artaxata, RY 28 = 69/8. Draped bust of Tigranes the Younger (?) to right, wearing five-pointed tiara decorated with a star between two eagles and tied with a diadem. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - TIΓPANOY Palm branch; to lower left, HK; to lower right, monogram. Kovacs 99 ( same dies ). Very rare. Somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
