MYSIA. Kyzikos. Circa 550-500 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 10 mm, 2.63 g). Forepart of a lion to left, devouring prey; behind, tunny. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. SNG Paris -, cf. 181 (hemihekte). Von Fritze I 42. Rare. A very well centered and attractive example. Scrapes on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
