Plautilla, Augusta, 202-205. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.52 g, 1 h), Laodicea ad Mare (?), 202. PLAVTILLAE AVGVSTAE Draped bust of Plautilla to right. Rev. HILARITAS Hilaritas standing front, head to left, holding palm frond in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. BMC 737. Cohen 14. RIC 371. Lustrous and fresh. Good extremely fine.
From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
