PHRYGIA. Hierapolis. Claudius, 41-54. Assarion (Bronze, 18 mm, 5.50 g, 12 h), M. Suillios Antiochos, grammateus, 50-54. [KΛAYΔI]OΣ KAIΣAP Laureate head of Claudius to right. Rev. M ΣYIΛ[ΛIOΣ ANTIOXOΣ ΓPA IE]PAΠOΛITΩN Apollo on horseback to right, holding double-axe over his left shoulder. RPC I 2970. SNG Copenhagen 455. Light deposits and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
