MACEDON. Thessalonica. Augustus, with Divus Julius Caesar, 27 BC-AD 14. Diassarion (Bronze, 21 mm, 9.91 g, 12 h). ΘΕ[ΟΣ] Laurate head of Divus Julius Caesar to right. Rev. ΘΕΣΣΑ-ΛΟΝΙΚΕΩΝ Bare head of Octavian to the right; below, Δ. BMC 58-9. RPC I 1554. Varbanov 4153. Minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
