★ A dinar of Vasudeva II ★

INDIA, Kushan Empire. Vasudeva II, circa 290-310. Dinar (Gold, 22 mm, 7.80 g, 12 h), main mint in Mathura or Gandhara. BAZOΔHO ('Vasudeva' in Batrian) Vasudeva II standing front, nimbate and head to left, holding ribboned staff in his left hand and sacrificing over lighted altar with his right; in field to left, ribboned trident. Rev. Ardoksho enthroned facing, holding cornucopiae in her left hand and diadem in her right; in field to upper left, tamgha. ANS Kushan 1649. Minor die break on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
