CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 365-355 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 23 mm, 7.87 g, 9 h). Nude youth on horse prancing right, holding bridles in his left hand; below horse, Θ. Rev. ΤΑΡΑΣ Youthful oikist, nude, riding dolphin to left, his right arm outstretched. Fischer-Bossert 573 (V231/R435). HN Italy 879. Vlasto 464. Lightly toned. Struck slightly off center and with a few scratches, otherwise, nearly very fine.
