Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Cistophorus (Silver, 27 mm, 11.78 g, 1 h), Ephesus, circa 25-20 BC. IMP•CAESAR Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. AVGVSTVS Six grain-ears tied together. RIC 481. RPC I 2214. Sutherland Group VI, 185a (O20/R10). A fresh, sharp and clear piece with a very attractive portrait. Light die wear, otherwise, good extremely fine.
