The coinage of the small Pisidian town of Lysinia is unformly very rare: von Aulock knew of only 19 examples in 1977, and although a small number of additional pieces have shown up over the years, this is only the second coin of Julia Domna from Lysinia known, and the first of this large denomination and reverse type.
