DYNASTS OF LYCIA. Uncertain dynast, circa 480-460 BC. Stater (Silver, 21x15 mm, 8.72 g). Forepart of a winged boar to left. Rev. Triskeles within dotted square within incuse square. Falghera -. Müseler -, cf. II, 21-22 (boar not winged). SNG Copenhagen -. SNG von Aulock -. Apparently unpublished and unique. A beautifully toned piece. Struck on a somewhat irregular flan, otherwise, good very fine.
