LUCANIA. Sybaris. Circa 550-510 BC. Stater (Silver, 28 mm, 7.03 g, 12 h). VM Bull standing left on dotted ground line, his head turned back to right; all within border of dots. Rev. Bull standing right on dotted ground line, his head turned back to left; all within border of dots; all incuse. HN Italy 1729. SNG ANS 828-844. A bold, sharp and beautifully toned piece. About extremely fine.
