GAUL. Massalia. Circa 450-410 BC. Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.70 g). Male head with long hair to left, wearing helmet adorned with wheel of four spokes on the bowl. Rev. Wheel of four spokes. LT 524. Maurel 290. A sharply struck and beautifully toned piece. Extremely fine.
