Description

Heraclius, 610-641. Follis (Bronze, 34 mm, 14.89 g, 6 h), mint in Sicily. Crowned, draped and bearded bust of Heraclius facing, on the left; Heraclian monogram, on the right; all within incuse punch; host coin: D N ANASTASIVS P P AVG Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Anastasius I to right. Rev. SCLS within incuse punch; host coin: Large M flanked by two six-pointed stars; above, cross; below, Є; in exergue, CON. DOC 241. MIB pl. 18. SB 882. Minor corrosion, otherwise, good fine.
