Description

Heraclius, with Heraclius Constantine and Heraclonas, 610-641. 12 Nummi (Bronze, 20 mm, 8.05 g, 10 h), Alexandria, 632-641. Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine, both wearing crowns surmounted with crosses, and Heraclonas, uncrowned, standing facing; each holding globus cruciger in their right hand. Rev. Large IB, with monogram with cross above; in exergue, AΛЄΞ. DOC 197. MIB 209. SB 861. Rare. Somewhat brushed and with light deposits, otherwise, good fine.

From the collection of Prof. Dr. Hans-Ulrich Geiger, privately acquired from Erwin Dietrich in December 1973 (with collector's ticket).
