Description

Diocletian, 284-305. Follis (Silvered bronze, 28 mm, 9.03 g, 6 h), Treveri, circa 300-301. IMP DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG Laureate head of Diocletian to right. Rev. FORTVNAE REDVCI CAESS NN / ATR Fortuna standing front, head to left, holding rudder over globe in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left; in field to right, star. RIC 400. Rare and unusually attractive. Minor weakness on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
