CARIA. Cidramus. Elagabalus, 218-222. Hexassarion (Bronze, 39 mm, 35.77 g, 6 h). AYT KAI M AY ANTΩNЄINOC CЄB Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus to right, seen from behind. Rev. KIΔ𐤭A/MHNΩN Elagabal, in military attire, standing front, head to left, sacrificing from patera held in his right hand and holding long scepter in his left; at feet to left, altar; at left, facing cult statue of Aphrodite Aphrodisias; to right, male figure standing front, head to left, wearing Phrygian cap and holding patera in his right hand. RPC VI online 5392. Very rare. Minor doubling and with some smoothing on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
