CENTRAL EUROPE. Uncertain tribe. Circa 50-25 BC. Stater (Gold, 18 mm, 7.19 g), 'Regenbogenschüsselchen, Mardorf' type. Triskeles within a torc-shaped wreath with a pellet-in-annulet at each end. Rev. Eight annulets, five with pellets within them, three with an annulet; around, zigzag ornament; all within cup-shaped incuse. Flesche 402. Kellner, Manching, type IX A. LT 9441. SLM 1099. Very well centered and exceptionally well struck, a wonderful example. A few light marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
