Description
Theodoros, 6th-7th centuries. Seal (Lead, 19 mm, 7.66 g, 12 h). The Mother of God holding infant Christ, both nimbate; cross to her left and right. Rev. Cruciform monogram ΘEOΔⲰPOV. Zacos/Veglery 1211. Some deposits, otherwise, very fine.
From an important collection of Roman and Byzantine seals, tesserae and amulets, formed before 2021.
