Basileios, hypatos and strategos of Delmatia (?), first half of 11th century. Seal (Lead, 24 mm, 6.43 g, 12 h). MHP - ΘV The Mother of God “Nikopoios”, nimbate, holding medallion of Christ with both hands. Rev. KЄ R,Θ, / RACIΛ’ / VΠAT S / CTP,T,Γ, / ΔЄΛ (?) in five lines. Unpublished in the standard references. A beautifully preserved small seal. About extremely fine.
