Anastasius I, 491-518. Follis (Bronze, 37 mm, 17.15 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis, 512-517. D N ANASTASIVS P P AVG Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Anastasius I to right. Rev. Large M flanked by two six-pointed stars; above, cross; below, Є; in exergue, CON. DOC 23i. MIBE 27. SB 19. Area of weakness on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
