KINGS OF LYDIA. Kroisos, circa 560-546 BC. Double Siglos (Silver, 20x14 mm, 10.64 g), Sardes. Confronted foreparts of a lion and a bull. Rev. Two incuse squares, one larger than the other. Berk 20. Rosen 662. SNG Kayhan 1018. A beautifully toned, boldly struck and unusually attractive piece. Good very fine.
