CENTRAL GAUL. Uncertain tribe. Mid 1st century BC. Quinarius (Silver, 15 mm, 1.71 g, 7 h), Loire region. BIIIN[OC] Celticized draped male bust with long locks to left, bow and quiver over shoulder. Rev. Horse standing left in front of a stylized temple. DT 2658. Scheers, Lyon, 856-7. A rare and unusual type. Minor deposits and with a brockage mint error on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
