CENTRAL GAUL. Pictones. Circa 100-50 BC. Stater (Electrum, 23 mm, 6.43 g, 3 h), 'profil de type Aquitanique' type. Celticized male head to right, with strings of pearls coming out of the hair. Rev. Devolved charioteer, driving cart drawn by a centaur to right; to right, crescent; below, large human hand. DT 3659. LT 4395. Nearly very fine.
